Description

The BOBBY from Maui Bikes is a new product from the brand. In addition, for 2025 we will have a torque sensor. This new assistance takes into account the pressure exerted on the pedals to offer motor assistance adapted to demand. So, a much smoother assistance. This foldable step-thru bike is powered by a 500W Bafang motor, a Samsung battery, all paired with hydraulic brakes to enhance your outings! The BOBBY is suitable for both urban routes and trail rides thanks to its front suspension, its 100 mm wide tires and its mudguards.

Our bikes offer a pedal assist system combine to a handlebar throttle. The torque emulating Pedal Assist Sensor (PAS) signals the controller to run the motor between 5 levels of pedal assist, providing a boost to your pedalling depending on the level of assist you select while riding. You can also use the on-demand throttle that gives you the power for an instant acceleration or uphill push regardless of pedalling to give you a fully electric ride in case you need some support.
